Sarsparilla - Hardenbergia Voilacea
This is a native climber. It prefers full sun to part shade, with full sun best for flowering. This "happy wanderer" produces purple pea flowers in Winter/Spring, tolerates mild frost and enjoys well-drained soil.
Below is the sized plant that went into our Turpentine forest (seedlings kindly donated by Hornsby Council).
Here is a picture of the flowers that are likely to arrive, once it starts flowering.
